CAMIS is an aluminum entrance threshold that tightens up the entrance with a simple and refined design.
Balancing design and ease of installation
Conventional metal thresholds are fixed solely with adhesive, requiring wooden frames for protection, which increases both labor and installation time.
With CAMIS, resin temporary fastening parts are secured with a tacker, greatly improving workability compared to adhering metal flat bars.
It also supports custom lengths, minimizing effort on site.
Installation Instructions & Specifications
Note: Please use “Bond E-Flex” from Konishi Co., Ltd. for the adhesive. We cannot guarantee the strength if any other adhesive is used, so please take care.
Note: When installing on a tiled floor rather than a wooden floor, there is a risk of damage if the tacker comes into direct contact with the tiles. As shown in the diagram below, make sure to fasten it from an angled position above the slit so that it hits the wooden subfloor.
Also, before attaching the aluminum cover, make sure that the resin base is not lifting from the tiles and is installed straight without any waviness.
